About Alicia

 My name is Alicia and I'm a psychiatric nurse and a mental health specialist. I am currently in my final year of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program. I currently work as a visiting nurse for a company that specializes in mental health and an inpatient facility that provides care to those who are especially vulnerable.  I enjoy teaching and helping people become the best versions of themselves through education and leading by example. 

Mental health is so important and I feel like it's my life's journey to help others in need heal. Needing help is nothing to be ashamed of! Awareness is half the battle and hopefully my blogs and videos will help you understand that you are not alone. I have always been honest of my own struggles and like to share how I overcame many obstacles to be where I am today.  I am very passionate about what I do and I'm glad you're here!  

Raised in Lynn, Massachusetts, I take pride in my community and my involvement. I hope to spread awareness on mental health, addiction and how it can lead to homelessness.
